Marlys is deeply passionate about health and wellness. Her degree in Psychology first ignited her fascination with the mind–body connection and provided the foundation for her journey as a teacher and guide. For more than 25 years, Marlys has supported individuals through life transitions, stress, trauma, and the emotional and physical challenges that often arise along the way.
Throughout her life, Marlys has sought to make authentic, meaningful connections—whether working on Bay Street, attending births as a doula, photographing mothers and babies, raising her own children, teaching yoga and wellness classes, volunteering in schools and on sports teams, owning and managing a yoga studio and wellness center, or holding space in healing and counselling sessions.
At the heart of her work is a simple truth: Marlys sees the spark of light and pure love within every person she meets.
